The Blues Lounge Radio Show Presenter Steve Hoare

Steve is a lifelong music fan specialising in Blues, Rock 'n' Roll and most forms of American music stemming from the 1950's era. He has studied and written about The Blues for many years now. In the past he has been a contributor to Britain's best Blues magazines 'Blues Matters' and 'Blueprint' and now brings his enthusiasm to 'The Blues Lounge Radio Show' every Sunday at 4pm on Bradley Stoke Radio.

The Show is now in it's seventh year since starting in Aug 2017 and has become a firm favourite with Blues fans and Artists all over the world. With high profile interviews with the likes of Jimmie Vaughan (4 times), Billy Gibbons, Robert Cray, Kim Wilson, Trickbag's Tommy Moberg, Little Victor, Bob Corritore, Kid Ramos, Mud Morganfield (Son of Muddy Waters), The Kokomo Kings, Marcus King, John Primer, Archie Lee Hooker (Nephew of John Lee), The Cinelli Brothers, Alex Dixon (Son of Willie Dixon) and many more, Steve has developed the show into the 'Go To' show for Blues Lovers everywhere.

He has traveled all over the U.S.A visiting some of the greatest musical hot-spots including Chicago, Memphis, Nashville, Dallas, St. Louis, New York, Las Vegas and Mississippi as well as driving along Route 66.

An avid concert goer for the past 40 years, he has seen many of the Blues and Blues/Rock Greats of modern times including B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Albert Collins, Jimmie Vaughan, Robert Cray, Chuck Berry, ZZ Top, Johnnie Johnson, The Rolling Stones, The Allman Brothers Band at The Beacon in NY, Johnny Winter, Clarence Gatemouth Brown and many more.

With a huge personal collection of Blues Music and books he brings his knowledge and enthusiasm to the airwaves at Bradley Stoke Radio and gives all of his listeners an uplifting, enjoyable and informative experience
